Waterfowl-muscovy-ducks

A pair of Muscovy ducks. Muscovies have a different ancestor from all other domestic ducks. They are better fliers than breeds descended from the wild mallard. Like geese, they are efficient grazers, needing little purchased feed and thriving on good pasture. Muscovies are excellent meat ducks, with the males being almost twice the weight of the females. The females tend to be devoted mothers.
